I was having a look at Cricket's Hearth blog and saw this Book Meme.
Here are the rules.

So here goes:
I smiled from ear to ear, as I jumped into her arms and held her tightly. As she ran her hand through my hair, I began to cry. Mother cried too, and I began to feel that my bad times were finished.

1. Syd from Singlesupermama - she is a very special friend that looked after me when I moved to Seattle when I was about 15. We went to the same school together for a few months until I moved back to England - I love her! She is SINGLE and she is SUPER! She is a fantastic mummy and so so funny - check out her blog!
2. Pam from Random Thoughts - I really enjoy her blog, she is random just like me and very down to earth and honest. She says it how it is and I love that. 4. Nathan from Confessions Of A CF Husband - I love his story about his family. I log on daily to check how they are all doing. Little baby Gwyneth is just gorgeous and is almost 2 pounds!! Tricia is awaiting a double lung transplant and it could be happening soon. Nathan is just AMAZING - he doesn't understand why and that makes him even more amazing! I love them all :o)
5. Jen from Tidbits Of The Tippets - I really enjoy her blog and we both waffle or ramble as she calls it :o) We are both newbies to blogging but are both addicted.

CURIOUS AS A CAT
I saw this over at Skittle's Place.....
1. Of all the people you know, whose name suits them the best?
Beanie (one of my best buddies) Her name is Jane really but I call her Beanie. It used to be Janey Bean and then just ended up as Beanie - she IS Beanie - it just suits her.
2. Describe what you think a creature from outer space might look like.
Lime green with a big oval head with huge blue eyes. Little ears on tentacles (tentacles not testicles) ! A cute little button nose and a cheeky little smile but no teeth! All it would say was "meek meek meek meek" and hug people. He also runs everywhere extremely fast! Don't ask me where all that came from - randomness at it's best!
3. If you could control one aspect of your death--except the timing--what would you do?
I would make sure I didn't burn to death - I have a thing about being in a fire - I DON'T want to be in a fire - I don't want to melt!
4. What is the largest amount of money you have earned in one day?
About £160 I think. Double time on a bank holiday :o)
5. Show and Tell - What comes to mind first when you see this picture? Or, tell a story if it reminds you of one.
It makes me think - Where do they all get changed? and do they have clothes on under their red robes? How often do they shave their heads? Are they all men? and how nice that they are all coming together and praying (I think they are praying) unless they are doing pilates???????? THE WORLD IS WONDERFUL AND DIVERSE :o) Oh, and if I was one of them I would be hoping the dude in front of me washed his feet LOL ;o)

Meme Monday
OK, So I'm joining Meme Monday where we save up our memes and awards and post them on Mondays. Then I go over to Melanie's Blog and sign Mr. Linky so that we can all visit each other.
This is the first time I have ever been tagged and I'm really chuffed - thanks Melanie :o)
This meme is called Kind Fives and you have to list five kind things you do for yourself. List five kind things you do for your closest friend, partner or child and list five kind things you have done for a stranger. You then have to Tag five people.
So, here goes.............
Five kind things things I do for myself:
1. I do my nails every 2 weeks, I don't actually have any REAL ones so I use stick on jobs but they do the trick and make me feel much more attractive and I get lots of compliments on how nice my nails are. My reply to those compliments is usually "Thanks, they are FAKE" as I'm rubbish at lying!
2. I make time for my friends and family - spending time with them makes me smile :o)
3. I get quite a few early nights as I need sleeeeeeeeeeeep.
4. I've started to do my shopping online.
5. I make my home nice.
Five kind things I do for my Little Loola:
1. I tell her I love her all the time.
2. I play silly games with her and make her laugh.
3. I have built up a little library of books over the last few years in preparation for when I can read stories with her. I even bought kids books before I even knew I was pregnant. I know - I'm a bit weird ;o)
4. I snuggle up with her on my chest and we have naps together (not sure that is kind to her or to me as I love it) :o)
5. I pay a little bit into her trust fund EVERY month even though I'm a single mummy on benefits - every little bit counts I reckon.
List five kind things I have done for a stranger:
1. Invited them to live with me at my mums (I was 17 at the time and the stranger had nowhere to live - we are still real good friends to this day and she is obviously no longer a stranger).
2. Volunteered my time - I'm looking into this again right now as I want to do something "useful" again.
3. Smiled :o) (This one was on Melanie's list too but I have it listed as one of my LIFE GOALS that I wrote years ago) A smile is catching and brightens up EVERYTHING!
4. Commented on their blog if I thought it was good or amusing.
5. Rushed out and helped the delivery man when he fell up the curb outside my kitchen window - poor guy scrapped all his leg up :o(

1. What is your occupation? Mum
2. What color are your socks right now? I don’t have any on.
3. What are you listening to right now? Baby TV.

11. Have you ever dyed your hair? Yep - I died it 6 times in 2 days a few months ago - It went really wrong and I kept trying to fix it and just made it worse. i had to go to 2 different hairdressers in the end!!
12. Pets? My cat lives with my mum now as I'm not aloud pets in my new apartment :o(
13. Favourite food? Chicken Korma, Pilau Rice and a Chapati.
14. Last movie you watched? The Secretary - very very very strange film!!
15. Favourite Day of the year? I think it is going to be my little Loola's birthday :o)
16. What do you do to vent anger? Eat & Cry
17. What was your favourite toy as a child? I don't really remember but I had a chicaboo.

20. What kind of pie? Apple & Cherry - yummy yum yum.
21. Do you want your friends to email you back? Of course I do - why would I email them if I didn't want them to email me back - what a weird question.

24. Living arrangements? I live with my 6 month old daughter or should I say she lives with ME :o)

26. What is on the floor of your closet? A plastic really useful box with bedding in it. They have boxes to put just about anything in! I'm obsessed with organisation, I can't help it! :o)

29. Favourite smell? Rain.
30. What inspires you? My daughter.
31. What are you afraid of? Confrontation, not being liked and losing a loved one.

I also agree with Melanie that it is really silly to stop at number 39! I have already explained that I do have "monica" tendencies so stuff like this really annoys me :o) he he
